Intellectual Inpropriety

As a writer, I’m clearly on a given side when it comes to intellectual property. But there is one notable exception: fonts. There are fonts that are copywritten and protected against unauthorized use. This, to me, is pushing it.

Some people defend their intellectual property, I believe, because it’s the only proof that they have one. That’s my only explanation. If I ever feel the need to copyright a font, I’m retiring into premature senility and spending my last dimes on expensive and varied forms of bedpan.
